Monday Break - Issue 56
Coming back to London means coming back home and during the Rouleur week never disappoints.
Rouleur Live
It is always a pleasure to come back to the city when Rouleur is on, it is good to see the brands' proposals and a good weekend to catch up with friends and brands from the industry.
We had the launch of a new bike 3T for the occasion, thanks to all the journalists who stopped by, and we went to the theatre to watch the last film from Team Amani and Fizik - Stay tuned soon we will announce a date for Casa Athletic - and we couldn’t miss the talk of our friend Allison Jackson about a new era on the cycling.
Our feedback is positive, it is good to see the latest proposals of the brands and be available to cover all without dying on the trying. See you next time!
London Cycling Culture
After living here for 4 years, coming back to London is coming back home. Aside from the Rouleur time, we have been here to do some projects before the show started and check about the actual cycling culture scene.
We did a Retail Tour (sport and fashion) for a client and it was good to see London didn’t lose its luster. We will be starting new projects with clients focused in the city around the community and the business side, so looking forward to spending more time in London.
Among others we need to mention Via Atelier, we caught up with Nick about the next steps of the recent cycling new concept store and it was great to feel the importance of this cycling hub around the community. We also had the opportunity to be in London for the opening of the second store of On at Spitafileds and we liked also the Tracksmith proposal in Marylebone.
Cycling culture in London is beyond just retail, we caught up with good city-based brands and we had really good meetings, and we couldn’t miss the visit to Apidura HQ for the screening of Ulrich, thanks for the night, beer and the patch!!
Descubre su origen - Café de Finca
This week Café de Finca launched a new campaign to show the coffee selection of their new pull-off investors related to the sport industry.
The Very Best Electric Cargo Bikes
One of the topics during our stay in London was about how the cycling industry should embrace more daily cyclists and obviously in every city we visited we loved to check the improvements in its cycling infrastructure for commuting.
So we loved to read the article in the NewYork magazine about the electric cargo proposals.
Following the topic above we like it the talk from the CEO of Brompton Bikes, Will Butler-Adams, title How we must change our cities. Enjoy it!
