Monday Break - Issue 181
This week’s Monday Break explores the intersection of performance, culture, innovation and endurance across cycling and running.
Manila × Alba Optics

When everything makes sense.
We always said that moving to Asia was beyond business.
On a personal level, we also want to help put a spotlight on the region — to show the world the cycling culture that exists here.
The community, the people, the riders we meet day by day…
that’s what makes this journey special. And being able to connect all of this with iconic brands makes it even more meaningful.
This weekend we brought the co-founder of Alba Optics to Manila to share rides, spend time with the cycling and running community and, of course, eat pizza together.

Big thanks to Mouv and the La Course Velo team for making it happen — and to everyone who showed up and shared the weekend with us.
Shanghai Cycle Show
Our first time at the China Cycle in Shanghai — and we absolutely loved the vibe.

A perfect mix of meeting clients and friends while also discovering new brands coming strong from the Asian market.
Three intense days of meetings, conversations and new projects across Europe and Asia. But as always, our favourite part was the afterworks — sharing time with key people from the industry and continuing to grow the cycling scene worldwide together.

Big thanks to everyone we crossed paths with in Shanghai and shared a beer (or two) with along the way.
Google Finally Made a Fitness Tracker
Google just introduced a new screenless fitness tracker, stepping into the space between traditional smartwatches and recovery-focused wearables like Whoop.
A minimalist approach that says a lot about where health tech — and our relationship with screens — might be heading.
Rachel Entrekin’s Cocodona 250 Course Record
Satisfy Returns to Cocodona 250

At mile 100 of the Cocodona 250, SATISFY is rethinking what a fuel station can be.
More than just a checkpoint, the Fain Ranch takeover becomes a space to reset — blending performance nutrition, hospitality and atmosphere into an experience designed for runners pushing through one of the toughest races on earth.
