Monday Break - Issue 101
What an incredible weekend we've just had! Check out our latest updates, and here's to an amazing week ahead! :)
Gravel Worlds Done and Dusted!
What an incredible time we had in Leuven, immersing ourselves in the Gravel Worlds atmosphere and continuing our mission to support the gravel community at the races.
It wasn’t our usual format of gravel races, but being there on the ground to witness the excitement and passion firsthand was truly special. Both the men’s and women’s races were lightning fast, with Flanders pulling out all the stops to ensure the riders had the support they needed.
A big congratulations to Mathieu and Marianne on their well-deserved victories—now it's time to show off those jerseys in some proper gravel races! 😊
Inside the Classified Team
On Sunday, we had the unique privilege of following the race from within the Classified-Ridley team. We got a behind-the-scenes look at how they expertly manage everything to support their riders, from the impeccable hospitality for guests to the aid stations that kept both their athletes and others fueled during the grueling race.
Exploring Flanders
On Saturday, we took on part of the race course with our bike to get a taste of what Flanders is all about. The heritage and classic cycling vibe is palpable at every turn, especially through the stunning forests. We selected three key spots to follow the women’s race, and the energy from the crowd cheering the riders on was simply awesome—this is the kind of support gravel racing needs more of!
Flanders never disappoints for cycling fans! A huge thank you to Visit Flanders for hosting us and to all the brands and athletes who make the Fantasy Gravel journey so exciting.
New World Record for Lachlan Morton
EF Education EasyPost-backed rider and adventurous spirit Lachlan Morton has shattered the previous Around Australia record, averaging over 450km per day for slightly over 30 days.
The Aussie covered 14,200km in thirty days, nine hours, and 59 minutes, more than a week faster than the previous best.
