Gobik redefines aerodynamics with the launch of "SUPERSONICA" Aero Collection
Developed alongside WorldTour teams and validated in the Silverstone wind tunnel, the new collection enhances aerodynamic efficiency in real-world racing conditions.
Gobik has officially unveiled SUPERSONICA, its most advanced high-performance aerodynamic collection to date. Developed in close collaboration with World Tour teams and elite athletes like individual time trial powerhouse Filippo Ganna, the new range is engineered specifically to maximize efficiency under high-velocity conditions.
The technical collection introduces cutting-edge long-sleeve time trial and road suits for both men and women, alongside a highly specialized ecosystem of aero accessories, including the Boundary base layer, Drag overshoes, Kinetic gloves, and Pinkie socks.
Technical Precision: Over 30 Wind Tunnel Tests
To validate the collection’s performance claims, Gobik subjected the garments to more than 30 rigorous testing sessions at the Silverstone wind tunnel. Iterations were evaluated using professional race bikes across varying speed ranges, real-world rider positions, and a complete sweep of yaw angles. Recognizing that a garment might perform differently when confronting a crosswind, the engineering team moved beyond isolated data points to analyze the complete CdA and drag curves. The objective was to ensure a highly stable, consistently fast aerodynamic solution across a realistic range of real-world wind exposure.
The data reveals elite-level performance gains:
The System Advantage: Pairing the MACH TT Suit with the Boundary Base Layer yields an aerodynamic saving of between 15 and 18 watts in high-speed compared to Gobik’s previous time trial suit.
Road Efficiency: The new Stratos Road Suit achieves up to a 10% increase in aerodynamic efficiency over the previous Madison model, drastically reducing air resistance at high speeds. This upgrade delivers a highly versatile garment that maintains stable, consistent performance under shifting crosswinds and unpredictable conditions.
Marginal Gains: The Drag Overshoes reduce residual drag around the shoe and ankle geometry, serving up an additional 5 to 8 watt saving.

The SUPERSONICA Ecosystem: Technical Specifications
SUPERSONICA represents Gobik’s most advanced expression of aerodynamic performance to date, marking a profound evolution for the brand in the world of innovation and professional racing. Developed side-by-side with World Tour teams to maximize competitive efficiency under high-velocity conditions, the collection focuses on the visceral experience of peak performance—capturing the feeling of movement when speed becomes absolute second nature. Engineered as a unified textile ecosystem, each piece is designed to turn marginal gains into decisive competitive advantages.
The Gobik SUPERSONICA collection will officially launch on Thursday, July 2 at 8:00 AM across all global retail and digital platforms.
