What becomes clear when you enter the world of unsupported, ultra-distance cycling are the unique challenges you meet, compared to other sports and disciplines even within cycling. On long days out, riding from dawn ‘til dusk and often late into the night with no support crew, riders will need to think about supplies and refuelling for the miles ahead.
The Packable Backpack and Packable Musette directly address these specific needs of the ultra-distance cyclist - the late-night gas station raids and carrying fuel and food while maintaining a lightweight and fuss-free setup. For so long we saw riders coming up with their own solutions, forced to use products that were sub-optimum in situations where something purpose-built would have made a significant difference.
Originally launched in 2020, we’ve spent the last 5 years watching the Packable Backpack and Packable Musette travel the world on hundreds of different setups and race some of the world’s most iconic ultra-distance events.
